I offer in-person Modern Calligraphy and Lettering workshops designed to help you master the art of beautiful writing while exploring the limitless possibilities of hand lettering. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you through each stroke with creativity, patience, and joy.

Learn the basics of modern calligraphy and hand lettering using brush pens. Work through guided practice using worksheets for the first half of the workshop, and then you’ll have access to a wide variety of tools and materials to create fun, hands-on pieces. Making wooden signs is the focus of this Calligraphy Club edition.

I had to make this today. We’re one BIG step closer to a free Iran. The news about Khamenei is huge. I know we still have a long way ahead, and I don’t want to jinx anything or ignore the complexity of this moment. Our mixed feelings are justified. I can’t help but fear an uncertain future because history has shown us how fragile change can be. But more than anything, I deeply hope for a lasting democracy in Iran, in the region, and in the world. 🕊️💚🤍❤️ I was supposed to teach calligraphy and tote bag design in my workshop today, but I had to cancel. And I couldn’t agree more! “Grief doesn’t have a face.” Grieving my father’s passing has been very different from my mom’s… and grieving all the Iranians killed recently does not appear in one form. So I decided to letter the quote, considering the grieving that is going on among the Iranian people.
